A gifted MC, DJ, and percussionist, he brings electrifying energy to the stage, both as a solo artist and as the drummer for the multi-Grammy-nominated band The GroovaLottos. He is also a co-founder of WAMPTRONICA, the Afro-Native collective behind genre-blending music events, pop-up parties, and a weekly radio show.As a producer and audio engineer, The ZYG 808 is recognized for his crisp, innovative sound and deep musicality, working across genres to create tracks that move bodies and minds. From crafting original compositions to mixing and mastering full projects, he brings technical excellence and artistic vision to every collaboration.
WAMPTRONICA is an Afro-Native collective of DJs, musicians, and creatives offering high-energy DJ services for events, dance party promoters, and public activations. We host a monthly dance party in New Bedford called The THUMP & SOUL SESSION, and produce spontaneous pop-up dance parties throughout Barnstable, Plymouth, and Bristol counties. Our weekly radio show on WNB One Radio features House Music, Rare Groove, and Afrobeat, reflecting the sounds we create and produce as a collective. Open to collaborations with fellow music makers, WAMPTRONICA brings deep grooves, cultural flavor, and vibrant energy to every space we touch.
