Zion Union Church has been a beacon to the Hyannis community and the communities of Cape Cod. Zion is currently celebrating 100 years of faith in Christ and we thank God for making this possible. Formerly located on North Street, God blessed us by giving us the resources to build a new edifice at 805 Attucks Lane in Hyannis.
The Zion Union Heritage Museum, Inc. mission is to create a museum that celebrates the African-American and Cape Verdean population as well as other ethnic and demographic diversity of the Town of Barnstable and Cape Cod.

Mrs. Sheril E. Smith is a proud mother of two adult children, a wife, and professional educator for the past 28 years. In 2006, Mrs. Smith migrated to the state of Georgia from Jamaica as an international teacher along with her family. As an educator, she taught in Macon GA for 13 years and attended Wallin University where she obtained her Master's in Education and Minored in Special Needs.
